Welcome to Dave’s website, please enjoy a browse around. I was born in West Sussex but I have lived in Derbyshire for the last 60 years. I formed an interest in electronics when I was about 15 at school as the science master used to offer advise and practical help to people interested in radio controlled models after school. After leaving school I started work at a large engineering firm in Chesterfield and worked there for 41 years until retirement.

My interest in electronics grew until I passed the Radio Amateur Exam (RAE) and received a B licence for operating above 30Mhz in 1970. Since a full licence as been available I have also operated on 80m - 10m. Further details can be found by clicking Activity
